Making art, but struggling getting into the shows you want. This workshop is for you! Find new ways to hone those pesky professional skills and presentation tools including: resume, artist's statement, professional portfolio and more. Using the skills of self-assessment, goal setting, research, organization, event protocols and networking get your career to the next level! You will receive individual instruction as well as participate in class discussions. Handouts on various resources for artists will be included.

Creative Shibori
Brainstorm your way out of the box! Learn new Shibori bound resist techniques by bending and breaking the rules of dyeing with natural and fiber reactive dyes. Create pattern and color on cloth through discussion, contemporary examples and hands-on application. Intermediate level: bound resist dye experience required.
